Three Pep Boys’ Team Members Named 2026 ASE World Class Technicians

Pep Boys is proud to announce that three members have been named 2026 ASE World Class Technicians by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and the Auto Care Association. Ryan Sussman, Jeremiah Lilly and Scott Elliott join their colleague Mike Pickett — who first earned the distinction back in 2004 — among an elite group of automotive professionals who have reached one of the highest levels of recognition in the industry.

The ASE World Class Technician program has been running since 1986, and, in that time, fewer than 2,000 technicians have ever earned the title. Out of roughly 250,000 ASE-certified professionals nationwide, fewer than 50 receive the honor in any given year. To qualify, technicians must pass 22 specific ASE certification exams across automotive, medium/heavy truck, collision repair, and advanced-level categories.

Recipients are recognized each March for certifications completed through the end of the prior calendar year. Honorees receive a certificate signed by the presidents of both ASE and the Auto Care Association, an exclusive embroidered shoulder insignia, and a personalized plaque and medallion.

Pep Boys congratulates Mike, Ryan, Jeremiah, and Scott on this well-earned recognition!
